When checking into Aparthotels Panorama Living Dolomites, all guests receive a complimentary Gitschberg Jochtal Almencard. This is an advantage card that allows free and unlimited use of 9 different lift facilities (in selected periods) and free travel on all public transport throughout South Tyrol. Almencard holders also enjoy free admission to over 90 museums in South Tyrol, as well as the opportunity to participate in the well-rounded activity programme organised by the Gitschberg Jochtal Ski & Holiday Area. The Gitschberg mountain railway is just a few minutes' walk away from your luxury apartment at Panorama Living Dolomites and the station of the cable car connecting the villages of Meransen/Maranza and Mühlbach/Rio di Pusteria is also within walking distance. The cable car takes you to Mühlbach/Rio di Pusteria, from where busses and trains run regularly both into the direction of the Pustertal valley (next town: Bruneck/Brunico) and the Eisacktal valley (next town: Brixen/Bressanone). So you can enjoy an absolutely car(e)-free holiday!
Free fares on the lift facilities in the Gitschberg Jochtal Ski & Holiday Area are excluded from 8th July to 17th September 2023.
In this period, you can either purchase a single ticket or choose from the following options:
Price:
for guests aged 16 years and older: 70 €

The free and unlimited use of regional public transport in South Tyrol is also included in the advantage card Gitschberg Jochtal Almencard. Your car remains parked at the luxury apartment hotel Panorama Living Dolomites during your holiday and you can comfortably use the bus or train. Thanks to the excellent connections provided by the local public transport network, you can walk from your apartment hotel in Meransen/Maranza directly to the station of the cable car, reach the village of Mühlbach/Rio di Pusteria down in the valley within only 6 minutes and conveniently continue from there by bus or train – for free. The mostly small, old and historically interesting cities of Brixen/Bressanone, Bruneck/Brunico, Bozen/Bolzano (the province’s capital) and Sterzing/Vipiteno can be reached from Mühlbach/Rio di Pusteria in a short time and you save yourself the tiresome search for a parking space in the cities.
